TRAVEL TIP #1 - 'DON'T LOSS IT' Check List

There are several important things that need to be with you all the time, here is a checklist that need to be check every time before going out. Don't leave these things behind inside your hotel room and make sure it is inside your pocket all the time.

1. PASSPORT & VISA *
-In most country, by law, we are suppose to have our passport with us at all times even a simple stroll around the neighborhood. If you loss it, you are DEAD (literally).

-most people think that leaving their passport in the hotel safe will the safest way to safe-keep their passport. Well, it safer to bring it with you at all time. Keeping it inside a safe might sound to be a good option, but don't forget that the hotel staff have a master-lock code/ master key to open it. (depending on what hotel you are staying.)

Trust no one but yourself.

- When bringing your passport, ensure you are pick-pocket proof.
(you can Google for some tips how not to be a prey for pickpockets)

- Just in-case, it is advisable to photocopy a few copy or scan and email it to yourself, so you can get in pull it down from any computer when you need a replacement from a consulate or embassy

*Note that Passports can be worth a lot of money on the black market, Guard them!

2. WALLET
- Cash, Credit card, Identification card and other important stuff is inside your wallet. You are getting no where if you loss it. And as well, beware of pickpockets.

If you lost your credit card, you have to contact your bank immediately to cut off the service , otherwise you will end up with tons of debt by some stranger.

3. SMARTPHONE
Important tool for communication. Used to contact your hotel in-case you donno how to get to your hotel, and finding your friend when you all are separated in by the crowded areas. Handphone is also essential in events of emergency especially when you need to contact the police, hospital, embassy and etc.
It is advisable to record these number down.

A smartphone will be better as it can help you organize your trip as nowadays alot of things can be done using your phone such as booking air-ticket, train ticket, schedules and route etc.
Smartphone allows you access the internet using Wi-fi, and you no need to bring along laptop which is another burden for you.
It also help you to kill some time during waiting and travelling time.

You also can keep in contact with new met friends from your trip using social networks and saving their phone contact.

* Getting a local sim-card will be advisable as it will be Seriously Expensive using roaming. Sim-card are easily available and cheap. It also depending on your duration of stay, if it is just a couple of days, then, forgot it  :P

4. KEYS
Room keys, Car keys, House key, locker key, safe key etc...
Losing these keys will bring a lot of inconvenience. It's kinda ridiculous if you are stuck outside of your hotel room with the keys inside. And, there goes your deposit~

A Humble Beginning

Hello Mina-san!

Welcome to my humble journal/blog about my travels and photography.

Well, I set up this blog to share my adventures and what I experienced during my travelling. Adventure might sound cheesy, but it is true. When you are constantly moving around, you will encounter a lot of difficulties and obstacles such as...stepping out of your comfort zone, facing people from different background and culture, not knowing where you are (lost) and finding your way to reach your destination. It is also a challenge when you attempt to communicate with the locals to which language is a barrier, surviving your trip with limited budget... the possibilities are endless.

I believe all of us are familiar with a popular cartoon series, 'Pokemon'. When I was a kid, I was inspired by this character ,Ash Ketchum. I envy that he can travel to see the world, gaining experiences and found friendship along in his journey to be a Pokemon Master.
Besides that, the TV-show, 'The Amazing Race' ,watching contestants crossing over the seven seas, countries and continents, exploring different corner of the world, seeing the beauty of amazing wonders, it really is an eye opener. At that point, I realized that the world is bigger than what I imagine.

Now is my turn to start my voyage.

There  is a Chinese proverb that goes like this
'千里之行,始于足下'
which means ' A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step'

We always wish we can do something or go somewhere of our desire. Although we had everything well-planned in our mind, But if you don't take the first step, you will be always standing on the same spot.I gotta admit taking the first step isn't easy at all.

What it takes is Courage Confidence to take the initiative to start. And Perseverance is needed to complete the rest of the course. Little by little, step by step, eventually we will reach our destination.

So, let's start saving right now for the next journey!

Hahaha~
